Data Privacy & Account Deletion

Monster Vox is committed to giving you control over your personal data. This page explains what data we store, how you can request a copy, and how to permanently delete your account.

Data We Store

When you create a Monster Vox account we may store the following information:

• Your display name and email address
• Phone number (if provided)
• Country or region
• Profile image URL
• Third-party sign-in identifiers (e.g. Google or Apple account IDs)
• Device identifiers and push notification tokens
• Questions you have posted
• Comments you have written
• Subjects you follow
• Activity statistics (views, amplifications, shares, comments)
• Amplification (Decibel) balance and transaction history
• Language preference and location

Requesting a Copy of Your Data

You may request an export of the personal data associated with your account at any time by emailing info@monstervox.com with the subject line Data Export Request. Please include the email address or username associated with your account. We will respond within 30 days.

Deleting Your Account

You can request permanent deletion of your Monster Vox account at any time. When a deletion request is processed, we will:

• Replace your display name with a removed-account placeholder
• Anonymise your email address so it can no longer be used to identify you
• Remove your phone number and country information
• Delete all third-party sign-in credentials linked to your account
• Delete all registered devices and push notification tokens
• Deactivate your account so it can no longer be used to sign in

Content you have posted (questions, comments) may remain on the platform in anonymised form. Activity statistics such as aggregate view and amplification counts are retained as non-identifying platform data.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — In the app: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and follow the on-screen steps.

Option 2 — By email: Send a message to info@monstervox.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request. Include the email address or username associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by reply.

Data Retention After Deletion

After an account deletion request is processed, identifying personal information is removed immediately. Anonymised or aggregated records (such as statistical counters) may be retained as part of platform integrity data and cannot be linked back to you. We may also retain records for a limited period as required by law or to resolve outstanding disputes.
